Educational Development

Five-Point Programmatic Thrust
Educational Development

The Educational Development Program of the Oxford-Henderson Alumnae Chapter (OHAC) recognizes the power of education in empowering individuals and communities, and it has established several programs and initiatives to support educational advancement and lifelong learning.

OHAC organizes workshops, seminars, and educational events to enhance financial literacy and money management skills. These programs aim to educate community members about budgeting, saving, investing, and other financial topics.

Within the program, OHAC offers scholarships, grants, and financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education. These scholarships are often targeted toward academic excellence, leadership potential, and community involvement. By providing financial support, the sorority aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with obtaining a college education.

Core values and principles that OHAC upholds

Scholarship

Pursuit of academic excellence, intellectual growth, and a commitment to education

Sisterhood

Strong bond of unity and support among women, fostering lifelong connections and empowerment

Services

Act of giving back, volunteering, and making a positive impact to the community/lives of others
